I started Jo Ceramics in 2022 after a lifetime of being a part-time artist and subsequent years of learning to work with clay. I initially thought that wheel throwing was my thing, but once I discovered hand building, I was in love. I could make anything, of any shape, in any colour - absolute heaven!

My style developed through my love of my surroundings on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Some of the pictures in the gallery below show my favourite beach with the best rock pools and beautiful rugged landscape. Any life stresses disappear when I am there.
